The best winter tolerant oats on the market. Years of research, by Dr. James Kroll, went into developing the perfect oat variety for deer food plots. They are easy to establish and maintain.Plant in fall around September 1. Drill or broadcast at 100lbs/acre at 1-1.5″ deep. Spray plot with glyphosate before planting. After planting use common broadleaf herbicides.
Without a soil sample, fertilize with 200lbs of 13-13-13 fertilizer. Nutrient values include a minimum of 18% protein.
