Product Description
This mixture of forage soybeans makes for an excellent summer and early season food plot. Help you scout in the summer and grow big antlers through the summer time. Pods hold late into the winter for added nutrition. Plants range in height from 3'-5'. Plant in the spring at 140,000 seeds (one bag or 45-50lbs) per acre either by drilling or broadcasting at 1-1.5" deep. Kill existing vegetation before planting and prepare a nice seed bed. These beans are RoundUp Ready for summer maintenance.
In mid July you can broadcast Green Beast or Frosty Feed to add another element to your food plot package. Providing added nutrition for late season hunting opportunities. Also allowing your deer to better recover after the rut and stay in good shape through the winter. This will allow for better fawn production and antler growth the following year.
For optimum results take a soil sample and fertilize according to results. Also use the DeerGro PlotStart or PlotBoost in conjunction with fertilzer to provide the best growing condition for the plants, while also allowing the plants to meet their maximum potential. This will ensure they have the most nutrients possible stored up in them. This means those nutrients go toward antler growth, fawn production, poult production and overall heard and flock health.
