Product Description
This diverse mix provides high amounts of nutrition and energy during fall and harsh winter months. It will also provide excellent thermal cover to increase survival rates of your upland game birds. Great for upland game plots as well as deer. Could use as a plot screen. This mix ranges in height from 2'-7' tall and has a maturity of 70-80 days.
Prepare your seed bed by spraying existing vegetation with a Glyphosate, remove dead litter by either tilling or fire. Plant in later spring at a rate of 8lbs per acre drilled or 15lbs per acre broadcasted at a depth of .5"-1".
For optimum results take a soil sample and fertilize according to results. Also use the DeerGro PlotStart or PlotBoost in conjunction with fertilzer to provide the best growing condition for the plants, while also allowing the plants to meet their maximum potential. This will ensure they have the most nutrients possible stored up in them. This means those nutrients go toward antler growth, fawn production, poult production and overall heard and flock health.
